Behind the scenes, there are butterflies about how plans will interpret in Decentraland’s virtual world, known for its more cutesy themes; worries about closeness to different brands; strains about press inclusion; and generally vulnerability regarding who will join in and in the event that they will buy.
“It is this big experiment that is coming to life,” says Evangelo Bousis, prime supporter of Dundas, which as of late digitized the look it made for Mary J Blige’s Super Bowl execution and is taking part in the first-ever Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW). “We are all participating for the first time — that is the beauty of all this — but you do get nervous,” Bousis concedes. “We get worried because it’s an extension of the brand, and we want it to be on brand.”
