Hermes ‘Inquisitive’ About Metaverse for Communication
Hermes, the Parisian extravagance brand, will stay zeroed in on craftsmanship yet may go to the metaverse for “communications,” Executive Chairman Axel Dumas told investors Wednesday (April 20), as indicated by a Reuters report.
“We are curious and interested” about the metaverse, he said. The report didn’t elaborate.
The metaverse has been broadly portrayed as a reproduced world made with computerized instruments like augmented experience and increased reality and in some cases integrating web-based entertainment and the blockchain. Facebook organizer Mark Zuckerberg, one of its most prominent team promoters – he even named a parent organization for Facebook “Meta” – has said the Holy Grail for metaverse development will be elective reality goggles, The Verge reported.
