Analyst Jason Pizzino Predicts When Ethereum and Altcoins Could Surpass Bitcoin – The Daily Hodl
According to a well-known crypto analyst, Ethereum (ETH) and altcoins may surpass Bitcoin (BTC) in the near future.
In a recent video update, Jason Pizzino, a crypto strategist with 321,000 YouTube subscribers, explains that the altcoin market is gearing up for a significant rally, with the ETH/BTC pair serving as an indicator.
Pizzino believes that the market is preparing for a potential 37x return for altcoins, with the ETH/BTC pair playing a crucial role. Based on historical data, he suggests that a breakout for this pair could happen in the upcoming months, possibly in May or June.
He points out that in the past, when Bitcoin reached its cycle peak in 2021, ETH experienced a substantial increase in value. Therefore, if the current market behavior is similar to the previous cycle, ETH could see a significant rise after a period of decline following Bitcoin’s new all-time high.
Currently, ETH/BTC is trading at 0.05145 BTC ($3,616).
Pizzino also mentions that Solana (SOL), a smart contract platform, may undergo a similar process to ETH in terms of price movement.
At the time of writing, Solana is trading at $196, down 1.5% in the last 24 hours.
