This virtual sanctuary is created to promote peace, unity, and cultural understanding and acts as the online version of the physical Universal Peace Sanctuary, which is currently being built in Lumbini, Nepal.

The Inspiration for the Universal Peace Sanctuary

The Universal Peace Sanctuary, both physical and virtual, is the brainchild of Dzogchen master His Eminence Shyalpa Rinpoche. Rinpoche envisions the sanctuary as a symbol of global harmony, aiming to shift the focus from war to peace by encouraging tolerance, cooperation, and reconciliation. Through this project, individuals from various backgrounds can explore peace principles in an immersive and interactive environment.

The virtual sanctuary provides participants with opportunities to take part in different activities that teach the significance of unconditional love, inner peace, and cooperation. Players will delve into the impacts of significant conflicts from history, pondering their aftermath and gaining insights into how global peace can be achieved through personal transformation.

His Eminence Shyalpa Rinpoche stresses the importance of collective effort in the pursuit of universal peace, stating, “Unconditional love is the ultimate foundation of peace worldwide. We must all cultivate temples of tolerance and peace within our hearts.”
