India based BharatBox, a joint venture between Brinc and Sandbox, is on a mission to bring 1 million users into the metaverse, positioning itself at the forefront of the blockchain gaming ecosystem. Collaborating with brands, such as Shemaroo, CoinDCX, Hungama, GoQii, and KGeN, the company aims to elevate the metaverse ecosystem in India.

Recently, BharatBox partnered with Shemaroo to reimagine the entertainment landscape with Bollywood IPs like ‘Jab We Met’, ‘The Great Gambler’, ‘Disco Dancer’, ‘Khuda Gawah’, ‘Blue’, and ’22 Yards’. Furthermore, the company joined forces with Goqii to launch a health and wellness platform within the metaverse.

BharatBox, based in India, is focused on building a strong community and has contributed to The Sandbox by bringing in 66,000 creators from the Indian market, the highest number of creators from this region.

The goal of BharatBox is to establish a new cultural hub featuring key partners from India’s entertainment, art, and sports sectors, including Bollywood. Collaborating with The Sandbox, BharatBox will offer virtual real estate to these partners to create immersive experiences. The company will provide IPs and brands through its partner network in India and collaborate with Web3 developers to develop games.

Our strategy to achieve one million users revolves around making the metaverse accessible to all through creator-first tools, partnerships with culturally significant IPs, and incentivized engagement. BharatBox within The Sandbox provides no-code tools for creators to easily build metaverse experiences, along with play-to-earn models to encourage gamer participation. Additionally, our partnerships with brands like Shemaroo, Hungama, and CoinDCX will help introduce new audiences to the metaverse by leveraging India’s entertainment, gaming, and tech ecosystems. Through gamified campaigns, exclusive NFTs, and community-driven content, we offer a unique onboarding experience to our IPs, scaling adoption and engagement for ourselves and our partners.
