Experiencing and Learning in the Metaverse

The MFW caravan offers opportunities for people to explore the virtual space, even if they are not gamers or tech-savvy. The goal of visiting various locations nationwide is to showcase the experience, make it more accessible, and encourage participation.

According to a spokesperson, interacting with the MFW team in person and talking to someone familiar with the metaverse creates a different experience compared to just hearing about it. The caravan serves as a means to build community and connect with ambassadors and leaders in different cities like Davao.

The initiative has caught the attention of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), with regional director Evamay C. Dela Rosa showing strong support. Dela Rosa emphasized the shared mission between DICT and Metaversity, both focused on innovation, online opportunities, and job creation.

“It’s not just about gaming; it’s about fostering creativity, innovation, and providing avenues for employment in the online realm,” said Dela Rosa.
