Analysts from JP Morgan predict that Bitcoin will outshine gold for the remainder of the year.
Citing:
The “debasement trade,” where investors acquire gold and Bitcoin as a safeguard against weakening global currencies, has evolved into a zero-sum game in 2025
Gold was on the rise, while Bitcoin faced declines… until recently.
Since the peak in April, gold prices have fallen while Bitcoin has seen gains.
There has been a flow of capital from gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs) into spot Bitcoin and cryptocurrency funds since April.
JP Morgan also highlights
The recent New Hampshire crypto bill allows the state to allocate up to 10% of its public funds into Bitcoin and precious metals.
Arizona has also enacted a similar law.
As more U.S. states take steps to invest in Bitcoin, it could serve as a “sustained positive” catalyst.
