15-Hour Window Sees 197 Million XRP Moved: Insights from TradingView News

Whale Alert, the blockchain analysis service that monitors hefty crypto transactions, recorded two substantial XRP movements totaling nearly 200 million units. Approximately half of this staggering amount was transferred to Binance, the world’s largest digital currency exchange platform.

When taking into account earlier detected transactions, the aggregate volume of this Ripple-affiliated digital token traded in just one day hits a remarkable peak of 358 million XRP.

Binance receives 200 million XRP in significant transfers

The transaction watchdog observed two considerable XRP transfers comprising 95,000,000 and 102,881,561 units, respectively. The first amounted to roughly $49.7 million, while the second transaction’s value was a bit higher, clocking in at about $54 million at the time of the transfer.

The Binance platform saw an inflow of 95 million XRP from an unidentified entity, possibly in a bid to liquidate the assets following a 5.6% drop in value on Friday. Even after the price slumped to $0.51440, a modest rebound occurred with the XRP’s value ascending by 2.43% to $0.52815.

Another 102.8 million XRP was channeled from one concealed blockchain user to another, signifying a spike in big investor movements within the market.

Substantial XRP amounts mobilized by Whales and Ripple: 187 million XRP

The tracking service Whale Alert also logged significant XRP transactions on Friday, indicating a notable uptick in whale activity this week.

Notably, one transaction dispatched a whopping 100,000,000 XRP from Ripple’s San Francisco headquarters to an opaque wallet. Bithomp’s analytics showed it to be an intracompany transfer.

Withdrawals and deposits around the orbit also occurred, with 31,126,439 XRP extracted from the Orbit exchange and nearly 29.1 million XRP deposited by an unidentified whale into Bitso, the Mexican crypto exchange.
