Bitget Introduces “BitEXC,” a New Trading Platform, for the Vietnamese Market

Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 entity, has debuted its exchange service “BitEXC” specifically for the Vietnamese market.

The service was inaugurated today, marking an important move into the Southeast Asian region, which has seen a rise in crypto adoption.

BitEXC initially offers a peer-to-peer (P2P) trading feature, enabling users to transact directly with one another. Vietnamese users can leverage well-known local payment services like ViettelPay, Momo, and ZaloPay for these transactions.

In the next three months, BitEXC is set to add more trading features including spot markets, derivative markets, as well as functionalities such as copy-trading, trading algorithms, and earning programs.

“Vietnam’s crypto landscape is ripe with opportunity, yet it demands platforms that resonate with and serve its distinct clientele,” remarked Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget and BitEXC.

With Vietnam ranking as the world’s second-most prevalent country in terms of crypto ownership, with 21.2% of the populace possessing digital currencies, BitEXC is crafted to align with Vietnamese user preferences and adhere to domestic regulations.

Moreover, BitEXC aims to connect with the Vietnamese crypto community by organizing AMA (Ask Me Anything) events, webinars, and instructional campaigns.

In addition, the platform is safeguarded by the Bitget Protection Fund, which consists of a $300 million pool in Bitcoin and Ethereum, dedicated to securing user assets from systemic risks.

Concurrently, the Vietnamese government has taken a facilitating role in the growth of the blockchain sector. A national blockchain strategy was proclaimed by the Ministry of Information and Communications in October 2024 to sanction the use of digital assets legally.
