Eisenberg Researched ‘Fraud’ Online Prior to $110 Million Mango Markets Trading Scheme

During the criminal proceedings, it was revealed that the individual accused of embezzling $110 million from the Mango Markets crypto platform conducted searches for phrases such as “elements of fraud” and “statute of limitations market manipulation,” which were part of the evidence presented.

The prosecution contends that on October 11, 2022, Avraham Eisenberg engaged in deceitful practices by inflating the value of futures contracts on Mango Markets by 1,300% in just twenty minutes. Following this, he is accused of taking out loans against the artificially high contracts through undisclosed accounts and subsequently absconding to Israel from Puerto Rico.
