HashKey from Hong Kong Debuts International Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform

HashKey Group, established in 2018 within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, obtained approval from the locale’s securities watchdog last August to unveil its HashKey Exchange for the retail market, in line with the newly enacted cryptocurrency regulations.

(Hong Kong) — HashKey Group, host of the preeminent authorized cryptocurrency exchange in Hong Kong, heralded the debut of its fresh international trading venue on Monday, marking the initial thrust of its wide-reaching global expansion initiative.

The newly minted virtual asset marketplace, dubbed HashKey Global and affiliated with the Bermuda Monetary Authority, pledges to cater to both institutional and individual clientele worldwide, save for jurisdictions facing regulatory constraints, which encompass the United States, the Chinese mainland, and Hong Kong itself. Operating autonomously, HashKey Global stands distinct from its counterpart, HashKey Exchange, in Hong Kong, as affirmed by COO Livio Weng.
