MVL, a Mobility Blockchain Enterprise, Commences Trading on International Cryptocurrency Exchange Gate.io

SEOUL, KOREA, March 27, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The blockchain-based transportation entity, MVL, announced its successful addition to Gate.io, a leading cryptocurrency trading platform recognized in the top ten globally. The announcement marks MVL’s third exchange listing agreement for the current month.

Participating in Gate.io’s newly inaugurated Startup launchpad initiative from March 24-26, MVL dispensed $80,000 in MVL tokens at no cost through a subscription event. Afterwards, MVL(ERC20) tokens were introduced for USDT market trading on Gate.io’s Spot trading service from 8pm on March 26, marking the end of the Startup event.

Dedicated to transforming Southeast Asia’s mobility sector using blockchain, MVL controls both the commission-free ride-hailing service TADA and ONiON Mobility, a company focusing on electric vehicle production and energy infrastructure.

TADA, MVL’s service, is now operational in four countries—Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia—providing amenable services for drivers and ranking as Southeast Asia’s second-largest platform after a notable expansion in 2023. Plans are in place for MVL to further expand within Southeast Asia and across Asian countries such as South Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan.

ONiON Mobility spearheads the use of electric tricycles or Tuk-tuks—a staple in Southeast Asian transportation. With 13 EV battery swap stations and production of electric tricycles underway, ONiON Mobility launched electric motorcycles last November, which were warmly received, and continues to diversify its business activities.

MVL also recently updated stakeholders through a Twitter AMA about its comprehensive business outlook and future strategies. The company plans a six-year undertaking to fuse its expanding real-world mobility operations with blockchain technology, engaging in the burgeoning RWA (Real-world asset) and dePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure network) market segments within the blockchain realm.
