Bakeup Is Makeup Created to Wear within the Metaverse — Interview
Jo Baker: Grace is a kind of muses that’s so totally inspiring you’re feeling like there’s nothing you may’t do: neons, gems, hyper-glamour… [We thought], How can we make it so everybody can really feel the magic that we do? That’s how Bakeup began.
Attract: However your debut product wasn’t make-up. Why?
JB: To be fully trustworthy, due to [supply chain] points, we did not wish to wait. That allowed us to daydream up [how to exist in] meta synthetic intelligence, fantasy play, different worlds.
Attract: Grace, you first wore the veil in a music video. What was that like?
GG: Once I walked into the shoot, Jo mentioned the day was going to be straightforward as a result of she’d simply need to prep my pores and skin. Then she held up this veil. [With the light catching it just right] on digicam, it virtually appears like I’ve gems and glitter in every single place. However to take it off on the finish of the day, all I needed to do was raise it away. Magnificence could be a bit intimidating. However you do not have to have a ton of technical talent to play with us on the earth of Bakeup.
JB: You’ll be able to gown it up and put it with a Tom Ford tux [Editor’s note: as one does], or you may put on it with sweats and a denim jacket.
