Dubai reveals its Metaverse plan through a groundbreaking virtual event

Dubai is aiming to attract more than 1,000 companies through its Dubai Metaverse Strategy, with the goal of creating over 40,000 virtual jobs by the year 2030.

The Dubai Metaverse Strategy seeks to position Dubai as one of the top 10 metaverse economies globally, establishing it as a key destination for the metaverse community. The strategy is focused on drawing in over 1,000 companies in the blockchain and metaverse sectors, which will bolster Dubai’s economy and align with the UAE government’s objective of increasing blockchain companies in the area by five times.

The strategy aims to foster innovation by strengthening the metaverse’s economic impact through research and development collaborations, as well as by cultivating advanced ecosystems through accelerators and incubators that attract companies and projects to Dubai.

Dubai is also committed to offering support in metaverse education for developers, content creators, and digital platform users within the metaverse community.

This effort extends to the advancement of Web3 technology and its applications, which will lead to the creation of new governmental work models and advancements in sectors such as tourism, education, retail, remote work, healthcare, and legal services.
