Forecast: Metaverse system put in base at 100m in 2024

As funding within the metaverse grows, possession of devoted metaverse gadgets (VR and AR headsets) is ready to surge. The Technique Analytics Metaverse, Augmented and Digital Actuality (MAV) report, Metaverse Gadget Forecast 2014-2027, predicts the put in base to double by 2024, from 50 million in the present day.

“So far, the market has been mostly VR headsets with AR devices mainly confined to the enterprise market. However, we expect AR headsets to drive future growth as more consumer-oriented devices launch. AR will grow from just over 1 per cent of shipments of the metaverse devices market in 2021 to a 64 per cent shipment share of metaverse devices by 2027.”
