Hiro Metaverse Acquisitions SPAC Removes from Public Trading After Unable to Find Merger Partner
Affiliated with gaming venture capital fund Hiro Capital, the SPAC made its debut on the LSE in February 2022 to capitalize on opportunities in the metaverse and gaming.
However, due to current economic conditions, the company has not been able to finalize a business combination before the expiration date of February 7, 2024, leading to its departure from the stock exchange.
As a result, its public shares and warrants have been revoked, and it has been removed from the standard listing segment of the official list of the Financial Conduct Authority and the main market for listed securities on the LSE.
The shares will be redeemed promptly at a predetermined price of approximately £10.72 per share, to be paid in cash, according to the SPAC.
