India to launch extensive animation and metaverse initiative for film industry

Recently, the Indian Government has given the green light for the establishment of the National Centre of Excellence (NCoE) for Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) in Mumbai. The goal of this initiative is to boost the industry in India by providing support and creating opportunities and employment within it.
