India’s first metaverse-powered virtual model polling booth launched in Ludhiana

In an effort to raise awareness among residents about voting, the administration hosted the country’s first metaverse-powered virtual model polling booth, along with live music and other activities on Saturday at MBD Neopolis Mall, Ferozepur Road.

Officials such as general observer Divya Mittal, expenditure observers Chetan D Kalamkar and Pankaj Kumar, and district election officer (DEO) Sakshi Sawhney were among those who attended the event and encouraged residents to exercise their right to vote.
