KiyaAI’s AyodhyaMeta: Bringing Ayodhya’s sacred sites to the world through the Metaverse
KiyaAI is working to transform spiritual tourism with its metaverse platform, Bharatmeta. In anticipation of Diwali, the company has joined forces with the Ayodhya Development Authority to develop 3D virtual experiences of key spiritual and cultural sites, including the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Hanuman Garhi, and the various ghats along the Sarayu River. This initiative is geared towards making Ayodhya’s sacred landmarks accessible to a global audience by early 2025.
Bharatmeta is described as a persistent world that coexists with the real world. It allows individuals to engage, connect, do business, collaborate, and create AI-driven content for immersive experiences spanning various sectors like banking/fintech, training, commerce, real estate, entertainment, culture, and tourism. The platform leverages India’s digital infrastructure for digital transactions, marketplaces, open commerce, and other areas, offering practical applications for different industries.
Building on the success of launching the Mata Vaishno Devi Metaverse asset last year in collaboration with a global investment firm, and the recent introduction of the Kashi Vishwanath Metaverse, KiyaAI continues to enhance its digital portfolio.
Rajesh Mirjankar, Co-Founder, MD & CEO of KiyaAI, stated: “Ayodhya holds a special place in India’s spiritual landscape, and through Bharatmeta’s metaverse, we aim to transcend physical barriers to share its rich heritage globally. This initiative resonates with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘AI for All’ vision, promoting inclusivity and shared cultural values, as well as supporting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘Vision 2047’ to establish Ayodhya as a prominent spiritual and global tourist destination. Bharatmeta empowers individuals to engage, connect, conduct business, and create immersive AI-driven content across various sectors like banking, commerce, real estate, entertainment, and culture. It’s all about bridging gaps and ensuring everyone can experience the depth and diversity of India’s traditions and digital infrastructure.”
