Peer announces $10.5M funding round and unveils 3D Personal Planets feature in Metaverse Engine

Peer Global Inc. has secured $10.5 million in new funding, bringing its total investment to $65.5 million. The funding, led by The Family Office of Tommy Mai, will be used to expand the team, develop AI, and grow the metaverse infrastructure.

As part of this investment, Peer has introduced 3D personal planets, enabling users to create personalized social hubs within the metaverse. This new feature aims to revolutionize digital interactions, offering spaces for collaboration, engagement, and exploration.

Peer’s metaverse engine establishes interconnected digital environments that empower developers to utilize AI for game development, interactive experiences, and real-time engagement. Founder Tony Tran emphasizes the platform’s focus on real-world interactions over passive digital consumption, positioning Peer as a cutting-edge alternative to traditional social media.
