Tech Tracker: Restaurants enter the metaverse
The metaverse is a major secret to many individuals, however it’s one that café networks are starting to understand the maximum capacity of them as they stake claims by recording brand names or opening units in the virtual world.
Restaurant organizations that have documented brand names to join the metaverse incorporate Burger King, Panera, Next Level Burger, Bareburger, Yum Brands, Inspire Brands, Hooters, Panda Express, Bojangles, Wendy’s, Chipotle, Wingstop, Mcdonald’s, and Chick-fil-A.
Chick-fil-A recorded for this present week for what it’s considering its own “Moo-taverse.” It seems as though Wendy’s Wendyverse in the brand name application, yet the jury is out on whether it will be realized.
NRN editors Holly Petre and Joanna Fantozzi examine two of the eateries entering the metaverse — Wendy’s and Chipotle — in this episode of Tech Tracker. Wendyverse opened to general society on April 2 and Chipotle’s computerized burrito game was a restricted time offer that has since expired.
Watch Petre and Fantozzi talk about how brands are advancing into the metaverse on this version of Tech Tracker.
