Wendy’s Metaverse Kingdom Grows With ‘Sunrise City’
The new virtual experience from the brand is being situated as an expansion of its prior Wendyverse activation.
Wendy’s is extending its virtual realm. Today, the eatery network sent off a new, marked insight in the metaverse called “Sunrise City,” an expansion of the brand’s Wendyverse activation which sent off back in April. The new virtual experience is “a breakfast lover’s playground complete with a breakfast themed obstacle course,” as per an assertion from Wendy’s.
The brand’s full portrayal of Sunrise City — which, similar to the remainder of the Wendyverse, is open through Meta’s Horizon Worlds stage — makes it sound like a mix between a middle age dream novel, an exemplary arcade game, and array of brand showcasing. Guests to the virtual scene will be tested to “reach the top of Wendy’s breakfast castle as teeter tottering bacon bridges and flying biscuits await,” per the brand. Various other virtual experiences will be on offer, including “paragliding on a floating breakfast potato.”
