A Significant Achievement in Interoperability

The multiplayer builder game My Neighbor Alice (MNA) has revealed a partnership with Pudgy Penguins to introduce a new region called Pudgy Land. This collaboration will also feature special quests and the incorporation of all Pudgy NFTs, showcasing a significant leap in cross-chain interoperability.

All three Pudgy collections will be transformed into 3D characters within My Neighbor Alice, enabling players to explore its expansive world with their beloved avatars. Pudgy holders will gain exclusive access to Pudgy Land, where they can socialize and connect with fellow enthusiasts of the charming penguins.

Through the partnership with Pudgy Penguins, all 8,888 Pudgy Penguins, 22,222 Lil Pudgys, and 7,399 Pudgy Rods collections will be integrated into My Neighbor Alice. This will allow holders of these popular NFTs to access new quests and gaming experiences within the MNA universe.

The collaboration aligns with the launch of Chapter One: A New Beginning on June 17, providing exciting incentives for both new and existing players to engage in quests within My Neighbor Alice. This partnership pushes the boundaries of web3 interoperability, illustrating the possibilities when leading projects collaborate across various blockchain ecosystems.

We’ve integrated not just the Pudgy Penguins brand, but have also made all 40,000 items come to life as native 3D assets within My Neighbor Alice. Pudgy holders can see their unique NFTs animated in-game, engage with the environment, enjoy exclusive gameplay, and even create new experiences for others. This exemplifies the strength of interconnected ecosystems and is a vital step toward an open metaverse.”

To enhance the Alice universe, Snowflake Wilds has been designed as a cozy, winter wonderland. At its center lies Pudgy Land, where the community can quest, craft, and connect. Holders of Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgys will see their companions start as eggs, eventually hatching to reveal the specific NFTs they own. They can also personalize their in-game profiles with their Pudgy Penguin, while Pudgy Rod holders can use a custom fishing rod skin to catch unique fish.

Furthermore, the MNA-Pudgy partnership will introduce a special collection of Pudgy-themed emotes that can only be crafted by holders. Pudgy owners will have the exclusive opportunity to create and sell these emotes to other players in-game, opening avenues for monetizing their NFT ownership.

While some benefits are reserved for Pudgy holders, other opportunities will be accessible to the broader MNA community, including seasonal quests that offer winter-themed rewards. Pudgy holders will also undertake unique quests assigned by Pudgy-themed NPCs, creating exclusive themed clothing and accessories.

This partnership with Pudgy Penguins will not only attract new visitors to Lummelunda but also usher in a new winter season, marking the beginning of a new chapter for My Neighbor Alice. It represents the first of many integrations aimed at bringing popular IP and NFT collections into My Neighbor Alice, enhancing interactive and exploratory experiences within this community-driven open world.
