Donald Trump, Republican Presidential Candidate, Announces Plans to Release Another NFT Collection
Former US President Donald Trump has announced plans to release a new series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) following the success of his previous collections.
During an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek, the Republican presidential candidate revealed his intention to launch a fourth NFT collection in response to the high demand for his digital assets.
Trump reflected on the success of his previous NFT collections, noting that a significant portion of the sales were made in cryptocurrency. He emphasized the popularity of NFTs and expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from his fans.
His first NFT collection was launched in December 2022, shortly after announcing his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election. Despite previously expressing concerns about cryptocurrency, Trump now acknowledges the importance of embracing digital assets to prevent other countries, particularly China, from gaining an advantage in this space.
He stressed the need to prioritize the country’s interests and adapt to the changing landscape of digital currencies.
