(Kitco News) – Mercedes-Benz Group AG, the German multinational automotive powerhouse, has change into the most recent firm to step into the Metaverse by submitting a complete of 5 trademark purposes for its personal line of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Licensed trademark legal professional Michael Kondoudis revealed the trademark purposes by Mercedes in a tweet posted on Monday, which confirmed that the automotive producer filed its purposes with the US Patent and Trademark Workplace (USPTO) on December 14.
