Trump expands business ventures by endorsing line of Bibles following successful sales of shoes, NFTs, and other products

Former President Donald Trump is currently promoting the “God Bless the USA Bible” ahead of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. This new venture adds to the long list of branded merchandise that the real estate mogul and former reality TV star has profited from throughout his political career. Inspired by country musician Lee Greenwood’s song “God Bless the USA,” the Bible is being sold for $59.99 and is described on its website as “the only Bible endorsed by President Trump.”

In addition to the King James version of the Bible, the book features a handwritten chorus to “God Bless the USA,” the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance. Despite using Trump’s name, likeness, and image under a paid license through his licensing company, the Bible is not owned, managed, or controlled by Trump, the Trump Organization, or his affiliated entities.

While the new product is stated to be “not political” and “has nothing to do with any political campaign,” Trump’s critics have labeled him a fraud. The Biden campaign has criticized Trump’s latest brand deal, contrasting Biden’s focus on delivering for the American people with Trump’s apparent self-serving motives.

In a video promoting the Bible on social media, Trump emphasized the importance of having a Bible in every American home. He expressed that the Bible is his favorite book and a crucial element in making America great again by emphasizing religion.
