Metaverse-Based Virtual Rides : G-SHOCK THE RIDE

G-SHOCK THE RIDE is a virtual attraction from Casio that helps fans experience what it might be like to participate in a durability test carried out by the brand to ensure its shock-resistant watches are top-notch and as tough as intended.

This amusement park-like simulation was inspired by real durability tests conducted at the Hamura R&D Center but the experience goes above and beyond to explore the future and play with possibilities that could only exist within the realm of virtual spaces.

This virtual ride can be experienced within the social virtual reality platform VRChat and this is the second VRChat-based content from Casio. In October 2023, the brand virtually opened the doors to the G-SHOCK STORE on VRChat, providing a space for avatars to try on watches.
