Seth Green Recovers Lost NFT, Pays $300K to Get Bored Ape Back
The animation character, which Green cases was taken from him, is the star of Green’s forthcoming TV show “White Horse Tavern.”
Seth Green can relax realizing that Bored Ape Yacht Club #8398 is back in its legitimate home.
Green, an energetic gatherer of non-fungible tokens, has had a remarkable month. He as of late lost a few of his NFTs in a phishing-related occurrence, which likened to countless dollars of lost riches. Yet, that was not even his greatest concern.
One of the taken NFTs was a person from the well known Bored Ape Yacht Club, a decentralized brand that gives proprietors of its primate animation NFTs unlimited oversight of their personality. Exhausted Ape proprietors are allowed to involve their chimps for any business tries, and Green was presently developing a TV show called “White Horse Tavern” about his gorilla, #8398.
“I bought that ape in July 2021, and have spent the last several months developing and exploiting the IP to make it into the star of this show,” Green said in May when he lost the NFT. “Then days before — his name is Fred by the way — days before he’s set to make his world debut, he’s literally kidnapped.”
