BharatBox and GOQii Introduce Next-Gen Healthcare Metaverse Journey
BharatBox, a partnership between The Sandbox and Brinc focused on India’s metaverse, has joined forces with GOQii, a smart-tech health and wellness platform, to launch the country’s first health and wellness platform in the metaverse. This unique collaboration will offer users an immersive digital world where physical wellness routines are combined with cutting-edge metaverse experiences, all supported by the Universal Health Token (UHT). Users will be able to earn tokens for healthy actions, access health services, and benefit from a rewards system that promotes wellness-oriented behaviors.
As India embraces the metaverse’s potential, this partnership aims to redefine how technology, health, and preventive care intersect in a digital environment. The initiative provides experiences tailored for Indian users, seamlessly integrating fitness, mental well-being, and nutrition into an interactive metaverse space.
The Universal Health Token incentivizes healthy behaviors by rewarding individuals for participating in preventive healthcare activities. This ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network will be used across various platforms to earn rewards through fitness achievements, purchase health services, access healthcare consultations, and engage in decentralized governance within the ecosystem.
The core purpose of this partnership is to bring preventive healthcare to millions of Indian users. By adding a digital layer to GOQii’s existing ecosystem of wearables, personalized coaching, and health insurance, the new metaverse platform enhances users’ wellness journeys. BharatBox, with its metaverse expertise, creates an immersive, culturally relevant, and localized experience for Indian users. The goal is to unlock the potential of a user-driven digital universe, offering interactive spaces for fitness and wellness, as well as community-driven experiences for users to connect, compete, and grow together, fostering a unique blend of social interaction and health management.
Karan Keswani, CEO of BharatBox, mentioned, “India’s digital health sector is projected to experience significant growth, with a rise in recognized startups in the healthcare and life sciences space. By integrating wellness into the metaverse, we are tapping into a market that offers substantial opportunities.”
Agastya Samat, Director of the Force of Good Foundation, added, “Through our collaboration with BharatBox and the integration of Universal Health Token (UHT) into our platform, we are addressing a global shift towards incentivizing health behaviors.”
