A non-fungible token (NFT) stamped from the previous South African President Nelson Mandela’s warrant of capture was as of late sold for $130,000 (1.9 million rands), a report has said. The returns are supposed to assist with bankrolling Liliesleaf Museum Heritage Site, an association that archives South Africa’s battle for opportunity and democracy.
According to a Bloomberg report, Liliesleaf Museum Heritage Site had at first gotten the first record in 2004 as a gift. The actual warrant was given in 1962 by South Africa’s then minority rulers after they blamed Mandela for planning to topple the government.
After holding the report for almost 18 years, Liliesleaf Museum Heritage Site has again raised reserves utilizing a NFT which portrays an article once connected with South Africa’s political dissidents.
