Caa Appoints Silicon Valley’s Joanna Popper To Chief Metaverse Officer – Deadline

CAA has employed Silicon Valley media leader Joanna Popper to act as its Chief Metaverse Officer. Popper will be liable for laying out and executing the go-to-showcase system and center business needs for CAA and its clients inside the Metaverse.

Popper will lead a devoted group of Metaverse-centered chiefs, and will work intimately with Alexandra Shannon, CAA’s Head of Strategic Development, and CAA Executive Adam Friedman, who directs the endeavors of a cross-departmental group of specialists working across the NFT landscape.

Popper comes to CAA from HP, where she drove its XR drives for Go-To-Market, administering the send off of grant winning innovation, like the HP Reverb G2 VR headset (victor of Red Dot Design Award, CES Innovation Award, IF Design Award) and HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition (champ of VR Hardware of the Year, Entertainment Technology Lumiere Award, Red Dot Best of the Best, CES Innovation Award, IF Design Award). She worked intimately with driving studios and XR content makers, including DreamWorks, NBCUniversal, Sony, Disney, Paramount, Valve, Microsoft, Dreamscape Immersive, Zero Latency, Sandbox VR, VRstudios, Dave and Buster’s, Baobab Studios, Within, AtlasV, Marshmallow Laser Feast, Double Eye Studios, Spheres, YesUniverse, Vertigo Games, and Positron.
