MGM Resorts International is bringing an innovative jump into amusement by turning into the main Las Vegas resort to sell non-fungible token-empowered live execution experiences.
MGM joined forces with New York City-based tagging blockchain YellowHeart to sell 1,100 NFT-empowered passes to see the Jabbawockeez dance group and its new creation, “Timeless.”
Andrew Machado, MGM Resorts’ senior VP of computerized plan and business adjacencies, said the amazing chance to enhance a ticket exchange – and to be quick to do it in Las Vegas – was what the future held the NFT realm.
“When you look at MGM, we sit at the intersection of gaming and entertainment and we’re always looking at ways to delight our guests,” Machado told the Review-Journal. “When you look at what NFTs can do, it feels like something natural in a space that we should be playing in and experimenting with.”
The NFT VIP ticket groups will sell for $155 and $340 and gives various degrees of vivid encounters that purchasers can appreciate well after the performance.
When NFT holders reclaim their restricted release tickets at the show, their monochrome advanced ticket changes into a Jabbawockeez video, which turns into an extremely durable souvenir and a computerized key opening other select benefits.
